Oh my…not looking forward to the deaths of the “favorites”.
Ryan Kwanten, who plays Jason Stackhouse on HBO’s True Blood, says the final season of the vampire (and other creatures) series is about one-third of the way through filming.
Access Hollywood asked him what we can expect in terms of surprises as the series wraps, and Kwanten said that “nothing” is being left to chance.
We all know we’ll be saying goodbye to Bon Temps, but we’d better be prepared to say goodbye to some favorite characters.
“People are going to be dying,” he said, which wouldn’t be anything out of the ordinary for the show. But he added, “Some of your favorites are going to be not lasting the season, unfortunately.”
True Blood’s 10-episode final season is set to air this summer.
Season 6 ended with Alexander Skarsgard’s vampire Eric, nude and reading atop a snow-covered mountain. However, the special powers bestowed by blood wore off and he began to burn up, leaving many fans angry and wondering if that’s the end for Eric.
